Researches from Ohio State University together with partners from the NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory identify and map the interaction of onshore and offshore water and the dynamics of of such water systems in the United States coastline.
The study took into account physical parameters such as rainfall, evaporation rates and the amount of known surface runoff to calculate the missing water going out below ground and combined those with the site-related anthropogenic activities.
This type of study always bring inspiration to other people who should follow to better plan the future management of land along with ground water.
